I was born in Ames, IA in 2005. When I was born, I weighed 7.7pounds and my birthday is August 31.  My family’s names are Boone, Lindsay, Mya and me, Mack. I have been a Hawkeye fan since I was born.

When I was 6 years old, I fell in a ditch. The next year I did it again, and after that year, I did it one more time! I also played with a punching bag,I talked really funny, and my mom and dad want to put it on A.F.V. I love playing baseball because it is so fun! Baseball is my favorite sport!

School is pretty fun! Mrs. Whipple is the best! I am really good at reading and math. I love Mrs.Whipple’s class.  One of the reasons is that it is fun! I also have lots and lots of friends.

I don’t know what to be when I grow up, but I want to live in Eagle Grove. I also want have a big family. I also want to get married. That’s my autobiography.

One time before I moved to Iowa, my older brother dressed up and took my other brother and me trick or treating. He dressed up as the grim reaper, I dressed up as a bee, and my other brother dressed up as the great pumpkin. While we were going around town, we came to a well-decorated house, so we knocked on the door.  When someone answered, they called for their little girl to bring the candy bucket, and when she saw my oldest brother, she dropped the bucket of candy and ran away screaming as if she had seen a ghost. When her mom brought her back, she was still a little scared, but she laughed at what my brother showed her of what he was filming, and instead of taking the candy they gave him, he gave it to the little girl.

After that, we went running home to tell our parents about what had happened, and we showed them what we had gotten on camera, and we spent the rest of the night in my brother and my bedroom laughing, eating candy, and telling scary Halloween stories while watching Halloween movies.

MY Halloween Memory

How to Do a Push-Up

by Harley Schnobrich

Step one: Lay down on your stomach

Step two: Push yourself up and have your hands right under your shoulders and your body flat, in a plank position.

Step three: From here, push yourself up and down, not letting your stomach touch the floor.

It will take some practice and I recommend using a mat under you to start, but after a little while, you will be able to do a push-up very easy, and you won’t need a mat.

My Favorite Halloween Memory

My favorite halloween memory is when I was little. I was dressing as this cartoon that I have no idea about nowadays. I was dressed up so colorful. I kind of looked like an artist, but I know I wasn’t. While I was trick or tricking, my friend Jaclynn and her mom Kim were walking around also trick or treating. Kim was walking around with a camera because she works for the newspaper. I saw them and Kim asked if I wanted my picture taken. Of course I said yes because I thought I was going to be a superstar after I was in the newspaper. Kim took my picture and I’m pretty sure I was the happiest girl in the world. I told all my friends about it and if someone didn’t believe it, I had backup and that was Jaclynn.

That was my most favorite Halloween memory ever. To this day, I still have the picture laminated and have it hanging in my room. I still look at the photo and laugh.

Autobiography

Mack Morgan

If you are ever caught in the event of a tornado, follow these steps and you will have a better chance at survival.

  • If you are at home, you should take the alerts serious and put a blanket and a flashlight in your safe spot, whether it is in a bathroom or a basement. Then, if a tornado occurs, get everyone in the house into that location and get down on the floor and put your arms over your head and neck, or put on a bike helmet.

  • If you are at school, you have probably been through a drill, so be quiet and listen to the adults and go to that safe spot.

  • If you are in a trailer house or a vehicle, evacuate immediately and get into a sturdy structure. If you can’t get into a sturdy building, go into a ditch and cover your head and neck. Do not go under the vehicle. You have a high risk of dying if the vehicle rolls over if you do get under it.

If you follow these steps, you have a better chance at survival than other things.
