If you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  I would be more than happy to talk to you.

I was raised on a farm here in Eagle Grove where I helped do chores for cattle and hogs.  I attended the Eagle Grove Schools and graduated in 2004.  Through my school years, I played all sports, and my favorites were basketball and softball.  My senior year, coached by Mr. McLaughlin and Mr. Jeske, we made it to the State Softball Tournament achieving sixth place.  It was the first time in 15 years the girls' softball team made it to state.

After graduation, I attended Iowa Central Community College and then transferred to Iowa State University where I received my degrees in Marketing and Elementary Education.

I married my high school sweetheart, and we have three awesome kids.  We stay super busy, but we wouldn't change a thing!

We love cheering for the ISU Cyclones, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Eagle Grove Eagles.  Fishing and boating, scrapbooking, reading, sports, and spending time with my family are some of my favorite things.

One of my favorite school memories happened while I was in middle school.  I was very afraid of and was quite sure my PE teacher hated me.  That teacher happened to be our very own Mr. O'Hern!  Some days Mr. O'Hern would have us run around the track to warm up.   He must have known that was something we didn't particularly like to do, because he warned us that if we tried to cut across instead of running around he would be watching, he would know and we would be in trouble!

Well, one day, one of my friends and I were very sure he wasn't watching us and thought we could quickly just skip across the field and Mr. O'Hern would never know! So that is just exactly what we did!  And just about the time we made it back to the school door, Mr. O'Hern was standing waiting to tell us that we better turn ourselves around and run the track like we were supposed to in the first place!  We didn't see him, but he sure saw us!  That for me was a really great lesson learned...you should always do the right thing, whether you think someone is watching...or not.
